  • Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) has awarded financial grant for travel to Anchorage, Alaska, USA to present a research paper at ‘Ecosystems 2010: Global progress on ecosystem based fisheries management held at University of Alaska Fairbanks during 8-11 November, 2010
  • University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India has awarded Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship for Independent Research on 05.05.2009.
  • Participated in ‘SOUTHERN OCEAN EXPEDITION 2009 TO ANTARCTICA’ onboard Russian Research Vessel Akademik Boris Petrov for 63 days from 12.02.09 to 14.04.09, to study the biological productivity of the Southern Ocean.
