Under the aegis of the NSS unit, St. Michael's College celebrated today, the World Food Day on the campus. The event was hosted to channelise the 2014 World Food Day theme "Feeding the World, Caring for the Earth" to the members of Michaelean community. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Mathew V., Principal, who spoke to the audience regarding the importance of a healthy happy life achieved through proper diet, necessity of conserving food and the relevance of being kind and generous to the needy. The inauguration was followed by the preparation of a unique traditional medicinal juice prepared by Dr. M. A. Florence of the Dept. of Economics which was shared among the students and staff of the college.
